Finding Hope After Workplace Trauma

I worked with Naghma over a period of several months (June to October 2025) through EFT tapping therapy, after being recommended by a friend. I began sessions during a very difficult time in my life following extreme workplace trauma which led to me experiencing significant anxiety, lacking in confidence and emotional distress.

From the outset, Naghma was very supportive and took a gentle, structured approach. She listened carefully, validated my experiences and created a space where I felt safe to explore difficult emotions at my own pace. While she did encourage me to gently engage with uncomfortable feelings, I always felt in control of the process and able to pause or express when something felt too much.

Over time, I noticed a gradual reduction in my anxiety and stress levels. The EFT techniques gave me practical tools I could use outside of sessions which i found helped me manage emotional responses more effectively.

Naghma also followed up after sessions in a respectful and non-intrusive way allowing me to respond in my own time via WhatsApp which was very much appreciated.

Looking back, this support came at a very important point in my life. Since then I have gone on to complete a management training programme and secure employment where I now feel respected and valued and i have got married!! I believe the work we did together contributed positively to rebuilding my confidence during that period.

I would recommend Naghma at The Emotions Way to anyone going through similar emotional difficulties, anxiety or recovery from stressful experiences. The support I received made a meaningful difference to my confidence and wellbeing. I have learnt that I can’t change the past, but I can shape how my future will be. Naghma has helped me shift how I respond to challenges and I feel more grounded and less avoidant when facing difficult situations.
