Hi, I'm Naghma Qureshi, Social Worker, Certified EFT Practitioner, and Breakthrough NLP Coach.
I live in Mumbai, India with my husband and two lovely kids. For the past two years, I have been developing The Emotions Way. But I can say that it is a result of many more years of experiences and reflections.
I worked across many roles in social work research and academics before taking a break in my career. The break was intended to be of a very short duration, but life had different plans for me. Over the next ten years, I was on a 'lost and found' journey. I found myself lost in the challenges that not only affected my physical and emotional well-being but also started to affect those around me. That's when I learned about the concepts of adverse childhood experiences, birth trauma, emotional pain stored in body, limiting beliefs holding me back in unimaginable ways, and much more.
My biggest pain was that I felt all alone with my situation and didn't know if there was anyone who could understand. I also downplayed my painful experiences and thought I was making a big deal out of seemingly nothing. Still not giving up on looking for inner peace, I found not one but many people just like me. Even when I hadn't found a solution to my problems, I was relieved that I was never alone. I found that trauma is not defined by its size but by its impact. This gave me hope to keep looking.
And then I got trained to help myself using this amazing Emotional Freedom Technique. I started with self-help but ended up on this beautiful path where I chose to be able to help all others who may have felt lost as I did.
Through the Emotional Freedom Technique and Neuro Linguistic Programming, I worked extensively on myself and broke the seemingly never-ending fears of judgment, rejection, failure, and change. I now collaborate with people like you and me to help them attain emotional freedom and live a life that is relaxing, peaceful, and free from any fear holding them back.
I can see many positive changes in me since I have started taking the sessions. I have started feeling happy after a long long time.
